The Midi brand was founded in 1993, originated in the ‘Beijing Midi  Music School’ — China's first modern music institution.

Midi originated from China's modern music education, and gradually formed into an international cultural brand integrating large-scale music festivals, national wide music examination, independent music label, music award (Midi Awards), operation and management of music industrial parks, all-age music education and training, and international exchanges and cooperation.



In 2024, the Midi brand officially launched the registration process in the United States and plans to organize a series of international cultural, artistic and musical events in the United States. These events include a Midi music festival, music industry forums, music study tour programs, tours for Chinese musicians, and special exhibitions of original Midi brand merchandise and Chinese youth culture. This initiative aims to promote understanding and exchange of each other's cultures among the youth of the two countries.
